Dr Pillai (Baba)’s First HoPE Town in Manila: A Report Card (Part 3)

30 homes have been built for 30 families who come from the poorest of the poor and who are in search of a new life. 

As you will see below from their profiles, some of the families only earn S$30 (US$20) a month! Now, Baba has blessed these divine souls with a life of Heaven on Earth –  as citizens of HoPE Town, these families now have a home to call their own, clean water to drink, proper sanitation and a beautiful surrounding environment to live in.

Dr Pillai (Baba)’s HoPE Town project means more than just giving houses to the poor: to me, it is about transforming the lives of people who are often neglected and forgotten and restoring their dignity as human beings. It is beyond words how a simple gift of a house, costing no more than S$2,800 (US$2,000), can make a profound difference not only in the lives of each of these families but also in the lives of their future generations who would escape otherwise being born into a slum-environment and growing up with slum & poverty consciousness.

I am therefore excited to share with you pictures of Dr Pillai (Baba)’s first HoPE Town which was built with your generous donations and which has helped Baba begin bringing about Heaven On  Earth.

To Tripura and GK Foundation,

First of all, we thank the one above. Because of Him, there were a lot of people who helped us. Sir and Madam, if not for you, we wouldn’t be where we are right now.  We are very much thankful for the new life and for the new home that you have to us and we hope that you will be able to help more people that need help. My family thanks you because you have given us the poor, the hope to have a new life and home.
