UPDATED- The Power & Significance of Mount Arunachala (Shiva’s Mountain of Fire): Highlights from the Grace Light Powerspots Trip (Part 3)

Our Grace Light Powerspots Trip attendees at the Makaral Temple

Namaste everyone,

One of the magical highlights of the Grace Light Powerspots Trip (Oct 2010) was our visit to Thiruvanamalai and Mount Arunachala.

Mount Arunachala is also known as the Mountain of Fire and is said to represent the divine being Shiva in his form as the element of Fire.

One of the powerful mantras that make up Dr Pillai (Baba)’s Miracle Mantra is an invocation of the power of Mount Arunachala. You can read our posting on Dr Pillai (Baba)’s Miracle Mantra and listen to Dr Pillai (Baba) chant the Miracle Mantra by clicking HERE:   Dr Pillai (Baba)’s Powerful Miracle Mantra

Watch what Dr Pillai (Baba) said during His special seminar with us about being at Thiruvanamalai and Mount Arunachala during the full moon night:

Over the years, Dr Pillai (Baba) has revealed important teachings about Mount Arunachala:

(1) Mount Arunachala has the power to remove your ego and bring you closer to the Divine. This can be accomplished even just by gazing at this sacred mountain.

(2) Walking around Mount Arunachala will remove the negative karma from millions of births. Once you are free from the shackles of these karmas, your own personal evolution & liberation will be accelerated.

(3) Millions of Siddha masters live at Mount Arunachala in their Light Body form. When you walk around Mount Arunachala, you can commune with these ascended masters and receive their grace and blessings. Occassionally, you may have the good fortune to encounter such masters who appear to you in a physical form disguised as beggars or wandering monks seeking alms or food.

During the Grace Light Powerspots Trip, we stayed at a lovely eco-resort called Sparsa which overlooks Mount Arunachala. Besides our time with Dr Pillai (Baba) there, we were blessed to take part in the feeding of thousands of pilgrims who were walking around Mount Arunachala on the full moon night.

We also had a divine walk around Mount Arunachala at sunrise. Our walk was extra special because we followed an inner path around Mount Arunachala which was lesser used and as a result, for the most part our 3-hour walk, we were by ourselves as we chanted VAYANAMASI and communed with Arunachala.

Monica, one of our community members who was on the Grace Light Powerspots Trip, was blessed with some beautiful experiences while at Mount Arunachala and she was kind to share them with us:

Everyone on the Grace Light Powerspots Trip had such an amazing and divine time at Mount Arunachala and I am happy to say we will be visiting Mount Arunachala once again during the SHREEM BRZEE Prosperity Trip (17 to 22 December 2010) during a full moon night.

We will relive the magic of Arunachala by feeding the thousands of pilgrims who will be walking around Mount Arunachala throughout the whole night. For us,  will be walking around the inner path of Mount Arunachala  during sunrise to commune with Mount Arunachala while chanting VAYANAMASI & the Miracle Mantra!

Thank you for sharing, very interesting! I donated for the feeding of the pilgrims through AstroVed, so I feel connected and happy to contribute in a small way.

Is it possible to receive mantra diksha of Arunachala Shiva, via heart connection with Arunachala and Bhagawan Maharshi? Or must I search for a Realized Guru who might bestow this on me? I know that it is not a common mantra for diksha, and perhaps not a common mantra at all. But I really feel drawn to it.
