Sunset in Goa – Dr Pillai (Baba)’s Teaching on SURYA, the Sun God

Namaste everyone,

While on the beach at the Intercontinental Hotel (Goa) during the setting sun, Dr Pillai (Baba) spontaneously decided to give a teaching on the true nature of the Sun.

Dr Pillai (Baba) has spoken about the true nature of the Sun before.

Some time in 1995, Dr Pillai (Baba) gave a discourse which was written up in article titled “Dr Pillai (Guruji) Speaks on Siddhi”. Here, Baba explained how the Tamil Siddhas (enlightened yogic masters with siddhi (supernatural) powers) had always regarded the Sun as a Conscious Being. In His article, Baba said:

How is it possible that a meditation on the Sun will give the practitioner knowledge of the worlds? Meditation on the Sun is important because the Sun is the most conscious Being, Spirit, Force and object in the solar system.  In this modern era of materialism, scientists conceive of the Sun only as an object- as a star.  For the Siddhas, knowledge of the Sun is comprehensive.  According  to the philosophy of the Siddhas, consciousness, illumination and intelligence are synonymous.  The more luminous or more brilliant one is, the greater is one’s intelligence.

Baba & His lineage, the Tamil Siddhas are not alone in regarding the Sun as a Consciousness Being.

Mitchell Gibson M.D., in his book “Your Immortal Body of Light” (2006) describes his visit to the Sun during his explorations in consciousness with his spiritual light being guide, Djehuti (who was also revered by the Ancient Egyptians as Thoth, the God of Knowledge & Wisdom). Baba had recommended this book on a number of occasions and I picked it up last year.

In “Your Immortal Body of Light”, Dr Mitchell Gibson states that during his visit to the Sun, Djehuti explained the ultimate evolution of human beings are to their Light Body.

Mitchell Gibson writes at pages 77 to 78:

“Djehuti’s form brightened to a ball-of-fire, literally. He touched my forehead and in the next moment we were floating serenely within violent tongues of flames [of the Sun] that leaped all around us.

We hovered in this realm as Djehuti spoke again: “This is the core region of the star you know as the Sun. As you notice, surprisingly, it is calm and peaceful inside of it despite its outward explosions…”

Naturally, I had expected a blinding experience, but that is not the reality I encountered. Suspended there in this brillance beyond was an exact replica, albeit a younger, perhaps, of my own body. It was curled in the fetal position, completely nude, and unconscious…As I looked deeper into this embryonic land, I saw many similar forms but I didn’t recognise faces of individuals.”

During this meditative experience, Djehuti explained to Mitchell Gibson about the human potential to evolve to our light bodies:

 “Your physical body  is in the early stages of spiritual light body evolution. And as you continue your studies and meditations, your Light Body will awaken, mature, and replace your physical form of dense-matter with light-matter. During this replacement cycle process, it will activate the dormant DNA gene-structures within your  cells and transform you into a being like myself. The development of your “diamond self” is the goal of Creator. Sunlight is in fact a complex carrier that encodes a number of energy factors that ultimately guide the growth and development of all life forms on your world. For this reason, cultures worshipped the Sun as God.”

Afternote:

At Dr Pillai (Baba’s) 2011 New Years Day seminar in New York,  Baba introduced another new archetype for 2011  – Haya Greeva, the archetype that will give you divine intelligence and the ability to perform supernatural miracles.

Baba mentioned that Haya Greeva has been known in different ancient civillisations by different names and in Ancient Egypt, Haya Greeva was none other than Djehuti/Thoth

During Baba’s New Year’s Day seminar, Baba spoke about how Vadiraja (a well-known beloved saint in India who lived about 400 years ago), was able to perform supernatural miracles for the good of people because he had Haya Greeva’s blessings and help.

Baba visited Vadiraja’s samadhi tomb in December 2010 which is located in a remote part of India. Here, Baba took the time to record a video for all of His students about Haya Greeva and the beautiful way how Vadiraja used to make offerings to him every day.
