What is the correct spelling for this archetype? On Dr. Pillai’s website, it is written out as Karuppasamy with a different mantra listed- Om Kalki Karuppasaamyai Vidmahe…. Which one is correct?
Dear Marissa,
Both the versions are right. Its just that the one you mentined is a longer version (also known as the Gaytri version) of the mantra. ‘Karuppasamy ‘ is the right spelling for the archetype and ‘Karuppasaamyai’ is the pronounciation which is to be used while chanting the mantra. The ‘yai’ in the end symbolizes the stress that needs to be given. I hope this helps 🙂

Thank you for teaching me about Karrupaswamy. I am grateful that Mohini is such a clear and precise instructor with great consistency. While doing his meditation today I found myself “seeing” myself in my chair bathed in gold light which permeated through my body, then the light spread to all corners of the room I was meditating in. Can you explain the Hindu significance of gold light?
