Start 2014 in a Great Way – Come Join Us this Sunday to Help Cook and Pack food for the Poor, Aged & Hungry (5 January 2014, Singapore)

Please come and join us for our 4th Dr Pillai Asia Community outing to our local soup kitchen Willing Hearts this Sunday, 5 January 2014 for us to volunteer our time to help prepare up to 3,000 meals a day for the poor, hungry, aged and for those who cannot afford a meal..

Our visits to Willing Hearts soup kitchen is in support of Baba’s & Tripura Foundation’s Million Meals of HoPE Project which aims to feed one million meals to the less fortunate across the world including in the US, Mexico, the UK, India and Singapore.

According to the Tripura Foundation, every 3.5 seconds someone in the world dies from lack of food. Food is a luxury a lot of us take for granted, but there are those who struggle every day just to find one meal. .
The Tripura Foundation has created Million Meals of HoPE with one goal in mind – Spark a global movement of compassion and joy to feed the hungry of the world

Through the generous donations from our SHREEM BRZEE event attendees last Saturday, we collected some money to buy raw food supplies (such as rice, vegetables, vegetarian food and beancurd) from a wholesale supplier and have these food supplies delivered to Willing Hearts as a contribution from Baba’s Asia community towards Baba’s “Million Meals of HoPE” project.

You are welcome to join in and contribute any amount to buying raw food supplies for Willing Hearts
